In this role, you will be responsible for the entire coffee roasting process, from selecting the green beans to monitoring the roast profile. You’ll need to have a deep understanding of coffee flavors and the ability to adapt your techniques to achieve the desired taste profiles. Daily, you’ll be involved in quality control, taste testing, and collaborating with other departments to ensure that our coffee meets the highest standards.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Operate and maintain the Probat roaster to achieve optimal roast profiles.
• Select and source high-quality green coffee beans from trusted suppliers.
• Monitor and adjust roast parameters to ensure consistency and quality.
• Conduct taste tests and provide feedback to improve coffee flavor profiles.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Work closely with the baristas to develop and refine coffee recipes.
• Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of roasting equipment.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in coffee roasting.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Proven experience as a Coffee Roaster, preferably with Probat roasters.
• Strong understanding of coffee flavors and the roasting process.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Certification in coffee roasting or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and processes.
• Experience with coffee brewing methods is a bonus.
• Ability to travel to different locations for coffee sourcing and tasting events.
